The Boston Celtics have exercised their team option on JD Davison, a non-guaranteed deal.  The Celtics are rewarding Davison for his spetacular G-League play.  Davison was named the G-League MVP last season averaging 25.2 points, 7.6 assist and 5.6 rebounds per game while playing for the Maine Celtics in the G-League. 

Davison from Calhoun, AL where he excelled on the basketball court before earning an athletic scholorship from the University of Alabama where he spent one season before getting drafted in the NBA 2022 Draft at pick #53 in the 2nd Round by the Boston Celtics.

Davison still has a chance to continue to show the Boston Celtics and the rest of the league that he belongs this next upcoming season.
